Accreditation
Yes, all our courses are fully accredited with either the Beauty Industry Approval, IPHM, and the CPD Group, most courses are accredited with at least two of the above accreditors.
Our accreditation will allow you to gain insurance after successfully passing your course.
Yes, once your work has been assessed and you have passed your course, you will receive your certificate via your account which you will be able to download, save and print as many times as you like.
Included within your course is a PDF certificate, which can be found in the "your certificate" section of your account.
However, if you would like a hard copy of your certificate we have two options available! which you can purchase online.

If it has been 14 days and you have not received your certificate via your account, please do contact us and we will be happy to help.
If the issue persists then we will be happy to send your certificate to your email within 7 days, ensure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails can fall into this folder.

Yes, our accreditation is internationally recognised by IPHM and the Beauty Industry Approval.
Insurance
Yes, you will be able to gain insurance once you have qualified.

You will need to check with your insurance company if the courses are covered as we do not know the answer to this. It is always advised to check insurance before purchasing any courses.
Online Courses
Yes most courses are structured for beginners as well. Full support from the team is on hand. Any courses that require any extra qualifications will be stated with in the course description before enrolling.
Please note, if you are required to hold another qualification before starting your course, you will be asked to supply a copy of your certificate within your course content.
When you purchased your course(s) you will then have access from these in your student dashboard, an email confirmation will be sent to you.
You can then study the Course Content.
As you complete sections the next section will open for you to continue your studying.
Next, you will need to complete your exam with an 80% pass rate, once this is completed you will then be able to upload your case studies/assignments for review by one of our educators.
When your work is completed to a high standard and you have gained a pass, you will then be able to see your certificate through your course home area.
Once you have received your certificate you will then be fully qualified in your chosen subject and will be able to gain insurance and start working within the industry.
Online Courses
Yes, you will need a kit, if you are completing an online course through our online accredited training courses.
Virtual Courses
Yes, you will need a kit, if you are completing an online course through our online accredited training courses.
Academy Short Day Courses.
No, we will supply all the equipment and products on the day for short 1-2-1 and group courses.
Academy Diploma Courses.
Yes, you will require a kit to complete any diploma courses you are enrolled in.
Please note, you will not be able to keep the products and equipment used on the day and we would suggest purchasing your own kit to continue to practice or provide treatments to complete your case studies and to work within the industry.
Unfortunately not for online and virtual courses.
Kits will be available to purchase in the near future from our own academy shop.
Postage can take up to 14 days for delivery, in the meantime, you will be able to complete your theory work ready for your case studies.
Online Training
Online courses have unlimited tries to ensure you complete your course to high standards, if after 3 attempts you are still not passing your course then there will be the option of having video conferencing support from our educators.
In-person training
If you do not pass your in-person training then we will be invited back for further training, free of charge.
You will have access to all the course content through your learning portal, to access this please sign in through your student dashboard.
Almost all of our courses will have videos to help aid your learning experience, we are in the process of creating video content and once we have finished we will upload to all courses requiring this section so if you are already enrolled on a course with us you will benefit from this new content. The course content still holds lots of information and guidance to be able to complete your course in confidence and we are on hand to help answer any questions you may have.
Yes, you will need to complete case studies in order to pass your course and gain your accredited qualification. You need to upload your evidence of work onto your student dashboard after you have studied the course content and completed the exam. These consist of before and after pictures and training heads and hands can be used. Some Courses require short Video evidence which can also be uploaded.
Once you reach the case studies section, you will be informed of what is required to complete your course.
Yes, there is a time limit to complete your course to achieve your certification which is 12 months. However, you will have lifetime access to the course content.
We highly recommend using a laptop or a desktop to complete your course however, you can view the course content and complete the exam and upload your case studies/assignments on any device.
Certification can not be shared as are courses are designed as one per person. The name that is registered at the start of the course is the name that will be placed on the certificate.
However, you can certainly both purchase the course and work through your studies together and be each other's models.
Yes, you can however, you will need to buy courses individually for each employee as you will need to register each employee's name when purchasing the course so they can have their own account.
Each person must have their own account in order for their case studies to be marked and retained as evidence and the system generates certificates based on the name on each account - which cannot be amended after.
If you have more than two employees to register then please call us and we can help make this process a smoother process for you and offer additional business discounts.
Course Subscriptions
You will be able to choose 1, 2, or 3 course(s) per month from the choice of courses on our website.
Once you have chosen your courses, please contact us to enroll you in the course and give you access to the online course content.

T’s&C’s – This subscription includes all online courses with the exceptions of our hairdressers level 2 diploma, educators package, our AET course, academy, and virtual courses. There is no contract and you can cancel your subscription at any time. Please note this is an introductory price however if you purchase now your subscription price will not go up. Available courses are subject to change without notice, not all new courses will be included.
Classroom Courses

Anyone aged 16+ can enrol on our basic level courses.
For more advanced courses you will need to be age 18+
Academy courses will provide the products for the day with short-term courses however, it is advised to purchase your own kit to complete your case studies.

Please do not worry! We have a very high success rate, however, if you do not pass your course we will enroll you in our next available course free of charge for academy short day courses.

Our salon is a good size, however, we can only have two students enrolled in our courses at one time.
Please note due to covid19 we have high restrictions in place to ensure everyone stays safe.
Yes, you will be manually enrolled onto the student portal within 7 days of your course starting.
Please note, all theory work will need to be completed before you attend your course.
Online and Virtual Courses.
For online and virtual courses, you will need to complete your case studies on a live model or alternatively on a training aid.
Academy Courses.
If you are completing your course on a 1-2-1 basis, then yes you will need someone to arrive 1-2 hours before the course ends to be your model.
If you are completing your course within a small group, then no. You will be expected to be each other's models to enable you to complete your course.
If you are unable to be a model and are booked onto a group booking, please contact us as soon as possible.
If you are unable to bring a model to complete your course on the day, then please do not worry.
Contact us as soon as possible and we will arrange for your case studies to be completed on a different day when you can bring a model, please know this will cost an additional £30 admin fee.
Alternatively, we can arrange a model for you to complete your course however, there will be an admin cost fee of £40.

Order Inquiry and Course enrolment
All online and virtual courses are non-refundable.
Academy training courses will need to be canceled 7 days before the course is due to start for a full refund, alternatively, you will only be able to rearrange your course date once you are under the 7-day mark.
Kits will only be refunded if damaged in transit.

Online Courses
Unfortunately, online courses cannot be swapped once you have enrolled.
We advise making sure you are 100% confident in your chosen course before enrolling / purchasing.
In-person training
In-person courses can be swapped as long as they have not been started online or in-person. Please contact us to find out more.
Yes, you will be able to purchase 6 courses or more and take advantage of our promotional offer.
For our promotional code to work, you will need to place separate orders consisting of 3 courses each.
Yes, you will receive an email confirmation for your account set up, your enrolment access email, and receipt of purchase straight away.
If you can not see your email in your inbox, please check your junk or spam folder as sometimes our emails can fall into this category.
No, we do not offer our payment plans as a finance option. Our plans are classed as a subscription for a set amount of time to pay for your course.
You will sign up for a course subscription for a set amount of time to pay for your course.
Please note, if you stop paying your payment plan, you will be removed from your course after a week of no payment. To prevent this you will need to contact us.
As this is classed as a subscription, to help protect us we will not provide any certificates until the payment is complete even if you have finished your course.

The reason we do not show our full address is due to our home-based salon is on private residential property. Our address details will be given once you have booked your chosen course.
Yes, When we first started we were known as BeautyBoo Boutique and BeautyBoo Boutique Academy. We later decided in 2020 to change our training name to BeautyBoo Training Academy and our treatment name to BeautyBoo Hair and Beauty.
This was to ensure our students and clients know we are the same company, however, it also helps stop people from becoming confused when enquiring.
If you have a certificate from us in our old name, please be reassured that your certificate is still validated with our accreditation company.
However, if you would prefer a replacement certificate with our new name, please feel free to contact us.
